We are pleased to share photographs from the 2nd International Conference on Maritime Trade and Transport (ICMATT 2026) held on 25th May 2026 at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, Warri, Delta State, where our National President and Chairman of Council, Boboye Oyeyemi, Ph.D, OFR, mni, NPOM, FCILT, FCIPM, FNIM, served as Chairman of the Opening Ceremony.The conference provided an excellent platform for robust discussions on the future of Nigeria’s maritime sector and the opportunities within the Blue Economy.A major highlight of the event was the formal induction of 44 Student Members from the Global Maritime Academy (GMA) and the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) into the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Nigeria (CILTN) and Presentation and signing of MoU between CILTN and GMA.In his charge to the newly inducted members, the President reminded them that their oath of membership is a covenant to uphold professionalism, integrity, and excellence. He encouraged them to take their studies seriously, participate actively in Institute programmes, seek mentorship, read widely, and prepare themselves to become the future leaders who will shape logistics, transport, and supply chain management in Nigeria and across Africa.As the President aptly noted:"Nigeria needs you.
